why do girls flirt so much? i'm not saying i'm completely against flirting. i admit, i flirt occasionally... or should i say rarely... but some girls (and guys) just flirt incessantly. and it is SO annoying! is it just that those people think they won't be liked/noticed if they don't flirt?
help me out here.

Your blog is awesome! On the subject of flirting: Flirting is sometimes involentary. When you like someone it is hard not to flirt. Everyone does, it I know I do becaues my friends tell me, but most of the time I dont even know I'm doing it! But some people flirt like it's a sport!! When it comes to thoes people I start dropping hints. If they don't get the picture you have 2 choices either exept the person for who they are ( and in some cases it is fun to have a total flirt around!) or confront them and tell them how you feel, but this might result in some hurt feelings. If the person is flirting just to get somthing they want out of a "weak" person CONFRONT THEM!! But other wise I would let them grow out of it. And if they don't... it's your choice who you hang out with! I love you and will be praying! I hope this helps!! GOD Bless!!!

Hey becca, ummm..well first i'm guilty on all acounts here! lol
i flirt alllll the time! even w/ 24 yr old men! how sad my friends call it "heathering" butcha no. so yeah one time i was outstide w/ this awesomely beautiful guy (who is still very very beautiful and this happened like 3 yrs ago) and i was flirting w/ him like crazy and he was like your flirting w/ me and i said no i'm not and he said yes you are and you can stop! and i said i am not! and he said if you flirt w/ me one more time you like me and so i shut up and sat down and turned bloood red and ended up knowing that i liked him because of how much i flirted w/ him. But he still lives around here,infact I saw him today walking down the street. but he stares at me all the time. I Have an obbsession w/ him and i shouldn't b/c he is not the greatest guy "but i can change him" not really jk but he bought some skittles from adam the other day and he dropped the wrapper on the ground so when he wasn't looking i picked up the wrapper and put it in my room. lol

oh, and I'm sure you know a little more about flirting now that you're older, Becca, but it's still really confusing. It usually leaves me wondering if the person you flirt with actually likes you or if they're just one of those people who takes up flirting as a hobby..
